City Manager, Richard Nienstedt, knows people are concerned about the affects of the covid-19, or corona virus. The City of Ottawa and Franklin County are in discussions about how to handle an outbreak of the virus if it would happen locally. Nienstedt says the important thing for people to remember is not to panic, just follow some simple steps to lessen the chance of contracting any virus:
He adds that the City and County are working together with the State on steps to take to prevent infection and protocol to follow if a case is discovered in our area.
