One common reaction all over the world during the corona virus crisis is the rush by people to buy face masks. However, it may all be in vain. Franklin County Health Department Director, Midge Ransom, says masks won’t keep you from getting the virus:
Ransom says there actually is some good news in that the rate of infection in China, where the virus originated, appears to be leveling off. She says officials have been busy developing an emergency plan, which includes some form of quarantine in case someone locally comes down with the virus.
