The Center for Disease Control has instructed all healthcare facilities, especially those serving an older population, to restrict outside visitors at this time, due to the adverse effects of the coronavirus on older citizens. Because of this, Lifecare Center of Osawatomie is restricting visitors until April 1st. This means family members, vendors, solicitors and others are asked to not visit the building until that date. Obviously, if there is an emergency, they will accommodate as necessary. Life Care Center emphasizes they do not have a current case of COVID-19 in their building and are not under quarantine. All operations continue as normal. If you have questions, or concerns, you are asked to contact the director of Life Care, Amy Seck at Life Care.
Vintage Park of Osawatomie is asking people to self assess and not come into the community if they are sick, or have been exposed to anyone that could have coronavirus. They welcome all visitors as long as they are following the guidelines set forth by the CDC.
