Looking for a fun time this weekend? Like Big Band Music from times gone by? We have the perfect event for you. The Central Heights Honor Flight Program will be holding a fundraiser tomorrow night to raise money for their next Honor Flight. Honor Flight takes veterans to Washington D,C. to tour the war memorials on the Mall, giving them a chance to remember and honor their fallen colleagues. Central Heights Superintendent, Brian Spencer, has been involved in Honor Flight since 2007. He tells us more about the event:
This is the fourth Honor Flight sponsored by Central Heights. Along with swing dance lessons, and a great band, a buffet dinner will be served and a silent auction will take place. The fun starts Saturday afternoon at 5:00, dinner at 6:00, music and other events at 7:00. There will also be military vehicles on display. A huge night of entertainment for a good cause for only $25.00. Sound good? Give us a call at KOFO and we can hook you up with tickets.
