With the shutting down of the school district, the Lyndon community and the school district are very concerned about families in need of food this week and possibly upcoming weeks.
Lyndon United Methodist and First Baptist churches will be supplying sack lunches to anyone that needs them this week. Lyndon united will be handing out food Thursday afternoon starting at 5:30 and First Baptist will hand out food tonight and tomorrow beginning at 5:30
The Lyndon school district, USD 421, will be doing weekly bundles. This week it will be tomorrow. There will be two pick up times, pick up times, 11:00 to noon or an evening pickup from 6-7 p.m. pick up location will be in the northwest high school parking lot. It will be a drive thru set up.
If the school district remains closed after this week, the district pick up day for the weekly food bundles will be on Mondays at the same times. They want to thank all the volunteers, churches, and community support during this tough situation.
