The City of Ottawa has suspended delinquency related service disconnections in accordance with an executive order issued by governor Laura Kelly. If you are currently disconnected, make arrangements with the City of Ottawa utilities department to have service reconnected.
It is important to note that charges will continue to accumulate on all active accounts and that while disconnections will not occur under this order until it is rescinded, it is in the customer’s best interest to continue to pay some amount on their delinquent account. This will help decrease the delinquency due when the order is lifted.
Hand washing is one of the most important safeguards for our community in preventing the spread of COVID-19. The City of Ottawa would like to make sure that all of our customers have access to water during this time to keep themselves and their families safe and healthy.
