Both Ottawa University and Neosho County Community College have asked students not to return to Campus for the remainder of the year.  Both schools announced changes in their Spring Semester on Monday.  Both plan to transition to online learning for the remainder of this semester.  Ottawa University President. Dr. Reggies Wenyika says that students who have left Campus for Spring Break have been asked to stay home and finish the semester through the University’s Distance Learning Format.  He added that arrangements would be made for students to pick up personal property from the campus.  The changes have not only affected class schedules but also graduation.  Wenyika says a plan is in the works.

Officials at Neosho County Community Colleges says Commencement Ceremonies have been cancelled.
