There seems to be some confusion as to whether schools in Kansas are really closed for the rest of the year or not. At a special Ottawa school board meeting superintendent Dr. Ryan Cobbs said people are getting confused about what’s going on.
Cobbs says once schools are deep cleaned, state officials are allowing small groups of students, generally less than 10, to use buildings for their classes. Cobbs says a school board meeting next Monday night will be devoted to where they go from here in restructuring the program given the new reality with the coronavirus crisis.
