Ottawa University has moved from level 2 to level 3 of their preparedness plan. That officially moves classes into an online learning format. Students were on spring break this week and were notified not to return to campus after break. Campus president Dr. Reggies Wenyika says they have come up with a plan for students and families to return to campus and retrieve belongings and at the same time keep campus secure.
Wenyika says that so far the plan is working and adds that there are quite a few students who have chosen to remain on campus the rest of the semester as they are from areas of the country considered to be hot spots for the coronavirus and they feel safer here. The university is accommodating them and continuing to serve them in every way possible.
