With the shift to online learning in USD 290, students and teachers are entering uncharted territory next week as they begin work to finish the school year. Ottawa high school principal Kelly Whittaker says its especially important for high schoolers to fully engage in the new format
She adds that if any student has limited or no access to the internet to call the school as soon as possible. They are working on several ways to help, including wi-fi boosters in various locations around town, including the high school parking lot. The online classes begin on Monday and Whitaker encourages all OHS students to do their best in a tough situation.
