When the word came down about the Franklin County Stay At Home order that closed all non essential businesses, Jeff Carrol, owner of Ottawa Bike and Trail immediately made a phone call to check if he could still operate his business, as he services bicycles, and people are encouraged to make use of the trails for physical activity. The answer, “kind of”, however, there can not be any customers in the store. He explains the situation:
Carrol says for now, bike service is by appointment only, just call ahead to let them know and you can drop you bike off at the store. They will repair it and have it ready for you. Also, if you need equipment, you can order online.
He added that the group rides organized by the store will not happen for awhile and the Rhythm and Ride event has been postponed until late August.
