Information came out last week on the guidelines set by the Kansas Department of Education for schooling the next several weeks. Those Guidelines direct school to spend this week assessing students technology needs, building lesson plans and telling parents what to expect. Kansas News Service, Roger Heaton has more:
Also, school will not administer Standardized tests, either State or Federal, because testing regulations say they cannot be given remotely.
USD 290 Staff have their plans set and school will begin on Monday. Teachers and principals have been in contact with students and parents on what to expect the rest of the year.
