Yesterday Governor Lura Kelly issued a temporary Statewide Stay At Home Order in the ongoing effort of combat COVID-19. This order makes Kansas the 22nd State to institute a statewide Stay At Home Order. The temporary order will take effect tomorrow and last until at least Sunday, April 19th. Kelly says that Kansans are directed to stay home unless they are obtaining food, medicine and other household necessities,;going to and from work at a business performing an essential function; seeking medical care; caring for children, family members, or a vulnerable person in another location.
The 10 person limitation is still in effect and individuals need to maintain a distance of six feet from one another.
