More good news from Ottawa High School! Sophomore Kristen Evans has been named the National Renaissance Student of the Month. She has been involved in Renaissance for two years and it has given her a better vision of being in the environment of School and has made her think more positively and help others do the same. She says more students should do things outside their comfort zone.
Ottawa High teacher, Jennifer Cane, nominated Kristen. Cane says she works tirelessly to help change the climate and culture at OHS and has gone above and beyond to better Ottawa High. She also led the charge to create a powerpoint to present to the School Board to gain approval to take a group to students to the Josten’s Renaissance National Conference this Summer. Congratulations Kristen! We hope you keep striving to make a difference at Ottawa High.
