A top economist in the midwest says that the economy that has taken a huge hit over the past few weeks due to the COVID 19 crisis will bounce back, but at a little slower than first expected.  Creighton University Economist, Ernie Goss, says the Economic Recovery depends heavily on the medical field and their ability.  He says without a vaccine for the virus, businesses will continue closed, which could lead to a bigger recession.  However, he urges people not get discouraged, the American people will overcome this and be stronger than ever.  He does say that economics and government can’t be the ones to bring us out of the slide, it’s more in the hands of scientists and medical professionals.
