For those businesses affected by the COVID 19 crisis, the City of Ottawa has a local revolving loan program where the State of Kansas expedites loans to those who are impacted. They have a low interest rate and are for Emergency Working Capital. Franklin County Community Development Director Wyndee Lee explains what the loans can be used for:
If you own a business and would be interested in applying for the loan, Lee says the process is fairly simple, just filling out some forms. The maximum loan amount is $35 thousand, and some have been approved already, and additional funds are available.
