We know some of the restrictions taking place in our area due to the COVID 19 crisis, but what about other areas of the Country? There are a lot of former Ottawans living in areas around the Country that have been hit hard by the Coronavirus. Hannah Thomas grew up in Ottawa and is a Graduate Student at Cornell University in New York City. She sees and hears the problems there in a more local perspective. Thomas says she believes part of the issue is socio-economic:
She adds that it is very apparent, at least in Ithica, where she lives, that people are abiding by the Shelter In Place Order and staying home. She does say that she has friends and Professors that have been afflicted with the virus
