With the Stay At Home Orders in place for most of the Nation going into their fourth week, many people are getting a little anytsy. Most want to get out of the house and back into the world. Many in our area have been doing that recently, and with relatively few cases here, compared to the New York area, one might think the worst has passed. However, one former Ottawa Resident, now living in the New York area, Hannah Thomas, says people need to rethink that notion:
Thomas is a Graduate Student at Cornell University, about 200 miles from New York City. She adds that people in her area are abiding by the Stay At Home Orders. She recalled a recent trip to the University to tend to her lab when she saw one other car on the 10 minute trip on a road famous for crowded conditions.
