Anderson County and the community of Garnett have launched a Community Give Bak Program, hoping to help retailm non essential businesses and restaurants who have had to cut back or close their doors during the Stay At Home Order. Director of Economic Development in Anderson County, Julie Turnipseed explains:
Garnett Commissioner, Greg Gwin, suggested the idea. You can find receipt forms to fill out and a complete list of all the businesses, heir addresses and phone numbers, on the web site SimplyGarnett.com.
Many businesses and organizations in the area are offering special services during this time. If you are a business, a restaurant, specialty shop, church, or anything else that would like to get the word out about what you have to offer, you can! Call KOFO between 11:00 and noon every weekday for the “Out To Lunch Bunch”. You’ll have the opportunity to talk about your business and let people know what you have to offer.
