The Kansas Department of Health and Environment gave an update on the COVID-19 pandemic yesterday afternoon.  The number of cases in Kansas has gone up to 1,705, with 84 deaths associated with the virus. There have been 375 hospitalizations reported.  Franklin county remained at 12 cases, Johnson county reports 358, Douglas 42, Miami 4, Linn 5, Osage 4, and Anderson county still has no reported cases.

Kansas health officer Doctor Lee Norman says things are looking better, but we have a ways to go

Of the 12 cases in Franklin county, 11 of those people have fully recovered. With the nice weekend, Norman says he is afraid people will be tempted to get out more and he thinks that would be a mistake and urges people to continue to follow the stay at home order.
