If you own a small business and are looking for a way to keep your employees during this time of unsurity, now is the time to get applications in for funds made available through the Paycheck Protection Act.  Governor Laura Kelly says Kansas businesses need to act promptly:

The loans are aimed to help small business survive until Stay At Home orders are lifted.  This lets companies with up to 500 employees ,to a low interest loan to cover up to two months of payroll and other expenses.  If all employees are kept on the payroll for eight weeks and other criteria are met, the loan can be forgiven.
