Garnett launched the Community Give Back Program last week. It gives you the opportunity to help businesses that are closed during this time and gives cash back to you. For every $100 you spend at a designated business, you get $10 in Chamber Bucks. Garnett Area Chamber of Commerce Director, Chris Hix, says it’s beginning to work:
She encourages people to save their receipts and check the list of businesses on the Garnett City website and Facebook page, and she reminds businesses to stay in contact with one another with ideas and ways to help each other stay functioning during these hard times.
