The second half of your property tax is due May 11th. The State of Kansas put an extension on Income Tax until July, and many are wondering why there was not an extension on Property Tax payments also. Franklin County Treasurer, Jodi Edwards, says the tax money goes to many different agencies:
Payment can be mailed in, dropped off at the box on the Main Street side of the Courthouse, or paid online. If you have any questions, Edwards says to call the Treasurer’s office and they would be happy to answer any questions you may have.
