As Phase One of the Governor’s plan to reopen the economy kicks in, Advent Health Ottawa is taking specific measures to ensure the safety of their staff and facility.
As plans to reopen take shape, the hospital is complying with the County, State and Federal Government in maintaining COVID 19 readiness with adequate levels of personal protective equipment, medical supplies, staffing and bed capacity.
The Hospital is also taking several steps to safeguard patients, team members and communities. These include requiring everyone to wear masks, restricting visitation to one guest per patient, conducting COVID 19 testing and ongoing surveillance for patients, team members and medical staff, performing temperature screenings on everyone entering the facility, modifying access points and following social distancing guidelines in waiting rooms, reception and dining areas and instituting enhanced deep-cleaning procedures. Advent Health Ottawa CEO, Dallas Purkypile, is encouraging people who have delayed medical tests or procedures to follow up with their personal Physician.
