The number of cases of COVID 19 continue to increase in Franklin County. The County reported its 20th positive case yesterday along with 13 negative test results. The County is currently awaiting results from 103 tests.
As Franklin County is in Phase One of reopening, and more and more people are seen ignoring guidelines, Officials emphasize the importance of wearing a mask in public, social distancing, thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting and washing your hands with soap and water. State wide, over 400 new cases have been reported in the last two days alone, bringing the State total to 5,458, with 137 deaths. County Officials say that if the number of cases does not flatten out soon further restrictions may have to be put in place.
