The storms on Monday morning reeked havoc on a lot of trees in the City of Ottawa.  Ottawa Public Works Crews will collect those limbs at curbside at residences starting on Monday.  City Officials say the collection could take a while due to the large number of large trees down that take more time to clean up.

They ask to make collection easier and limit damage to yards, stack the limbs parallel, or the same direction to the curb and as close to the curb as possible.  They will not be able to pick up from alleys due to space limitations.

The City also has two free collection sites for people to haul their own brush and limbs.  The first is at the intersection of North Cherry and Enterprise Road.  The other is on West Second Street dam.  Please be aware that this is for limbs and brush only, no trash, furniture, tires or other items are allowed
