Testing for the COVID 19 virus is on a rapid increase in Franklin County. In a news release from the Franklin County Health Department, Interim Director, Nick Robbins, noted that the testing capability is now allowing officials to test all close contacts of patients who have tested positive for the virus. Previously only those who showed possible symptoms were tested. The Health Department says, as of 5:00 Wednesday afternoon, there were a total of 20 positive cases in Franklin County.
