Unlike income taxes, there is no delay in property taxes in the state. The deadline for the second half of property tax payments is coming up on Monday. Some property owners have questioned why the state pushed back it’s state income tax deadline, but not for property taxes. The city of Ottawa has received several questions about the taxes, but city manager Richard Nienstedt told city commissioners it’s not a city issue
