The East Central Kansas Area Agency on Aging does a lot of good things for the people of Franklin County and surrounding counties.  They provide many services critical to older adults in a six county area.  One area they have really ramped up the past several weeks is food service.  Director, Jodi Smith, says even in the midst of the COVID 19 pandemic, people still need to eat, and the volunteers at the Agency are seeing to that:

The Radish Patch is at 1538 Industrial Road, and the meals on Wheels Program serves nearly 700 meals a day in their six County Region.  The East Central Kansas Area Agency on Aging is stepping up efforts to help during these troubled times.
