The number of positive COVID 19 tests continue to increase across the State and in Franklin County.  As of today, statewide, Kansas topped 7,000 cases, with 7,116, however, only one death was reported today.  The smallest in several days.  In Franklin County cases went up again today, a total of 26 cases have been recorded.  Franklin County Communications Director, Casey Brady, says the number of positive cases will continue to go up here and across the State as testing increases:

Governor Kelly’s phased plan to reopen the economy depends on the steady decrease of COVID cases across the State.  Phase One is set to go through May 18th.  Kelly says she will make a decision then as to go to Phase Two, or extend Phase One.
