The Franklin County Commission has approved two more Grants to area businesses hit hard by the Covid 19 crisis. Franklin County Development Council Executive Director, Paul Bean, laid out the details:
Bean says the Grants approved so far are helping some critical businesses. He says there are slightly under $24,000 left in the Grant Fund. The money is part of the $132,000 awarded to Franklin County for COVID relief. The City of Ottawa received the same amount and is in the process of deciding what businesses will receive those Grant Funds that must be used on businesses outside the City Limits of Ottawa.
