A sinking slab foundation on the west side of Franklin County District Court is the latest concern for County Officials. The County Commission has approved spending almost $8,700 to hire an engineering firm to figure out the best way to fix it. County Administrator Derek Brown, says the needed repair is one of many issues:
Maintenance Officials say the slab foundation began settling years ago. It was repaired 15 or 20 years ago, but the problem has now returned.
