The Franklin County Commission cleared the way for Buck U Distillery to move and expand their operation to an area outside Ottawa. The problem was the area of I-35 and Tennessee Road was not zoned properly for the move. Commissioner Don Stottlemire says Buck U’s owner came to them with a request:
Buck U produces many types of alcoholic spirits, but, when the COVID pandemic started, they were able to convert the entire operation over to making hand sanitizer when it was in great need. Buck U owner, Daryl Klietz, expects the move to take place by the end of the year.
