Looking for something fun and different to do today and help out a great cause at the same time? The 16th Annual Ride for Life will take place today in Paola. All vehicles are welcome on the ride. It will start at Papa C’s in Paola with sign in at 9:00 this morning. The ride will end later this afternoon at the Paola Eagles Club. It only costs $20 for the ride and there is no charge for passengers. A free t-shirt commemorating the ride will be given to the first 50 people who register. Once at the Eagles Club, there will be a quilt raffle of a beautiful Harley Davidson quilt made by Jackie McClean and Beth Dawson, a ‘Feed the Pig’ contest, and all kinds of games at each stop along the way. All the proceeds benefit the Miami County Cancer Foundation.
