Ottawa University will break ground this afternoon on what they are calling “Dream House” Greenhouse to be built south of Ward Science Hall and North of Martin Hall on Campus.
The Greenhouse will be used to enhance the Science Curriculum and offerings in areas such as biology, botany and green chemistry; as well as provide a culture and display area for the Visual Arts. There are also plans for the Engineering Department to design controls and monitoring systems for the structure, as well as use 3D printing to create robotic gardens. The structure will also provide space that would allow for thoughtful reflection, creative writing or just a place that a member of the Ottawa Community can come to spend time in thought or prayer.
