The Wellsville USD 289 Schools will move to full, in person learning, five days a week, starting Monday. The USD 289 Board of Education, after reviewing COVID 19 metrics, gating guidelines and learning models, voted to begin In-Person Learning as students and staff have done a good job following the protocols since the beginning of the year. The expectation is that those continue. Masks will still be required, temperature checks will continue, as will as frequent hand washing and social distancing when possible.

In a letter to patrons, Superintendent Ryan Bradbury says the districts intent is to remain in the model unless COVID numbers and virus spread within the district increase significantly.

He adds that he know the decision will please some and frustrate others, but their intent is to focus on providing a safe environment to all the students and staff, along with an excellent education experience.
