12 days….Only 12 days until an Ottawa tradition opens back up and we can all get our donut fix. Daylight Donuts will open twelve days from now, on October 3rd, under the new ownership of Charity McCain, and she is extremely excited. She worked at Daylights for many years, and they have given regular updates on progress, as well as some surprises:
KOFO was honored to have been treated to the first “maple bacon long johns”, or as they are called now, “pig on a blanket” and, I think I can speak for the whole staff, incredible. McCain spent last week training employees and doing test runs on the different types of products.
