The Emmy Awards went on as scheduled Sunday, with Jimmy Kimmel noting at the outset, that while an awards show might “seem frivolous and unnecessary” in the middle of a pandemic, “right now, we need fun”. The show was held in an empty theatre, with remote cameras set up in over 100 locations world wide. ABC’s George Pennachio says the show BEEEEP Creek picked up multiple awards:
