A high school teacher at Central Heights USD 288 will be quarantined the rest of the week, after coming in contact with a family member that tested positive for COVID 19 last week. The district has been in communication with the Franklin County Health Department and are following all guidelines and recommendations regarding the matter. In a letter to patrons yesterday, Superintendent Nathan Hinrichs says the Health Department is not suggesting any quarantine or testing on Central Heights High School students. He is encouraging parents to monitor their children for potential symptoms and to follow all safety protocols and, if the child has any symptoms or exposure, to not send them to school, but contact the Health Department.
