Landmarks and Fire Departments across the Country will glow in respect of fallen firefighters and their families. The National Firefighters Foundation invited everyone to get involved. Ottawa Fire Chief, Tim Mathias, says citizens can let their light shine:
The “Shine Your Light” Tribute will begin Sunday and run through October 4th. Mathias also announced a recent donation that will allow the Department to purchase several hundred smoke detectors. More information will be released soon.
