How will our community be impacted if the population is under counted in the 2020 Census? With the the time frame to respond quickly approaching, it’s more important than ever to get the form filled out. Census response rates are lagging behind 2010 numbers. With current response rates, most cities in Kansas could miss out on BILLIONS of dollars in Federal Funding. Governor Laura Kelly on the importance of the Census:
For every household missed, Kansas misses out on about $50,000 in Federal Funding. The deadline for the Census to be filled out is fast approaching–October 31st.
