To say it has been a frustrating start to the school year for USD 290 would be an understatement. Half days in person, half days online, learning logs and many more things have caused stress for parents, students and teachers alike. Ottawa schools have been approved to start In-Person, full day school. Ottawa High Principal Kelly Whitaker says, more details will be out soon:
The tentative plan is to begin with elementary students on October 14th and after a week or so, middle school students, the high school students on November 9th. Full details will be presented at the Board Meeting on Monday.
