Ottawa Police continue to work on leads in the investigation into the drive-by shooting that occurred in the 800 block of Olive street a couple weeks ago.
Sunday evening, this week, Police responded to the scene of a reported shooting in the 700 block of North Cleveland. A man was discharging his firearm into a house. These two crimes are not related. Ottawa Police Chief Adam Weingartner is concerned about guns:
Sixty eight year old Gary Hayes was arrested at 709 North Cleveland, Sunday, in regard to firing his weapon at a home.
