Ottawa Police have arrested a suspect in an armed robbery that occurred early Tuesday morning. Ottawa Police Detective Lieutenant J. W. Hawkins says the incident happened about 3:00 that morning:
The man arrested is 18 year old Lorenzo Holt. He was taken into custody at a residence in the 400 block of South Mulberry. He is charged with Aggravated Robbery, Possession of a Stolen Firearm, Aggravated Weapons Violation by a Convicted Felon, Criminal Carrying of a Concealed Weapon, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Hawkins added that the police are still asking residents in the 300 and 400 blocks of South Poplar, Mulberry and Sycamore to check outside cameras and doorbell cams for any video of pedestrians that may have been in the area early Tuesday morning.
