This week is National 4H Week in the United States and Clubs across the area are celebrating and getting the word out about what 4H means to them and encouraging other kids to get involved. The Ecord girls, from the Apanoose Trail Blazers, have been in 4H for quite some time. The oldest, Chloe, gives good reasons to join:

4H has been around for over 100 years and more and more youth are participating every year. 4H believes in the power of young people and realize that every child has valuable strengths and real influence to improve the world around us. If you would like to get your kids involved in 4H, call any of the local Extension Offices.
