It is flu shot season. The Franklin County Health Department is making it easier for county residents to receive a flu shot. The Health Department will have several drive-thru flu shot clinics throughout the county in October. Interim County Health Director, Nick Robbins, goes through the schedule:
Be sure to bring your insurance card. The Health Department says most insurance companies cover the flu shot. It you don’t have insurance, the Health Department has sliding fee schedules and will work with any individual to ensure everyone who would like a flu shot has access to it.
