The Ottawa City Commission presented a Proclamation recognizing the “Honoring Our Mission To Serve Veterans Day” in honor of the VFW Auxiliary. Chair of the Department of Kanss Auxiliary’s Historian and Media Relations, Donna Dornes, accepted the Proclamation. She says the needs of Veterans at the Kansas VA hospitals is great:
The Proclamation honors National President, Sandra Onstwedder’s visit to Ottawa tomorrow and, all members of the VFW Auxiliary for their outstanding service. Onstwedder will be in Ottawa tomorrow and will be the guest at the Ottawa VFW for lunch and a tour of the town.
