Ottawa High School has a tradition of naming two students of the week. Teachers nominate a student and put their manes into a jar with the reasons behind their nomination, then two are selected each week. This week, OHS Sophomore Jamie Mayor was one of the students selected for the honor. Ottawa High School Principal, Kelly Whitaker, on why Mayor was nominated:
