With the election coming up, Anderson County Clerk, Julie Wettstien, has been busy with many things, including getting advanced voting ballots ready for mailing. They can go out tomorrow. Today is a big day for voters. Today is the deadline for voter registration. Wettstien says that Anderson County voters can register in her office until close of business today, or have the option to register online at the website “votek-s.org”. Registration online will be open until 11:59 tonight.
Wettstien reminds voters that advance voting is also an option if you can’t make it to polls on Election Day and want to vote at the Clerk’s Office before the Election. Advance voters just have to go to the Clerk’s Office at the Anderson County Courthouse during business hours and request a ballot. Advance voting begins tomorrow and runs through noon on November 2nd. Anderson County Clerk’s Office will also be open until noon on Saturday, October 31st, for advance voters who can’t make it to the Courthouse during the week.
