The closing of schools by the COVID 19 crisis has caused a gap in learning for students, but if kids can be returned to school as normal, they can catch up. That seems to be the message of Ottawa School Officials. Curriculum Director, Amy Bybee, told the Ottawa School Board that in person teaching is vital at all grade levels.
Barring any complications, the Ottawa School District plans to return to full time in person school, starting with the elementary grades October 26th.
